Tutorials›Embedding Video on Your Website with Vimeo
Log in to your Vimeo account and click Upload a Video.

Click Choose a file to upload.

Select the video you want to upload. Vimeo supports all of the common video formats, but if you're not sure about your video's particular format, check out Vimeo's Compression Guidelines.

Your video will now start uploading to Vimeo. While it's uploading, give it a title, description and assign some tags. When you're done, click Add and wait for the video to finish uploading.

When it's done uploading, click the Go to video button.

If you see a message about your video being in the processing queue, just give it a few minutes. When your video's done processing, you'll be able to watch it on Vimeo like you would any other video. Now all we have to do is embed it on your website.

Hover over the video and click the Embed button.

Copy the embed code to your clipboard and paste it on your website.

You're done! Bring up your website in a browser and you should see the Vimeo player embedded on the page, ready to play back your video.
